On the 6 of June, starts the first event of unique cultural initiative UK.Okay! – Photo quest “Kyiv-London”. This is virtual English-Ukrainian event, where the best photoquesters from Ukraine will compete with their British counterparts.The idea of photo quest is quite simple: the Ukrainian participants will receive a series of tasks – during the limited time they will need to display elements of England culture and way of life with the help of photography, in the Ukraine! The English participants need to do the same but find Ukrainian culture in England.
Photoquest is a fascinating game, which allows participants to have fun while exploring their native environment by means of photography. The idea is simple - a contestant receives a list of tasks that he has to complete. There are two types of tasks - for creativity and a quiz. In first type of tasks a contestant has to his imagination to complete it, there are no strict guidelines. While quiz a contestant has to solve some type of a logic charade to find out the exact location that he has to reach in order to complete a task. In our case the topic is “cultural exchange”, so Ukrainian participants will have to find and recreate elements of British culture in Kiev and British contestants will have to find pieces of Ukrainian culture in London.
The event will take place on 6th of June, quest will last 5-6 hours and there will be 4 tasks. The results will be disclosed on 7th of June, there will be reputable jury that consists of top Ukrainian photographers and professionals in photo art.
